4 out of 5 stars Extremely good for the money.   June 14, 2010

This item is great for the price that you pay for it. Yes, the sheet metal is somewhat thin, but if you don't plan on beating it with a hammer it is sturdy enough. All in all I have not found anything to complain about when it comes to it's operation or quality, however, I'm using it as a humidor not a wine chiller.

1 out of 5 stars Can't maintain a cold enough temperature   June 7, 2010

Looks good from a distance but cheaply made. I have had mine about 6 months. It is quite noisy - I have it in my living room and you can hear it running the whole time.

It is unable to keep to my requested temperature of 55c (ideal temp for white wine storage). As I write this it is struggling at 59c.

I had a Haier before and that worked great before it died after 2 years. I am not sure what the deal is with wine fridges. Unless you spend $800+, there doesn't seem to be a reliable unit out there.

1 out of 5 stars Nice looking piece of crap   June 5, 2010

The thing arrived today, with a bump on it due to sloppy wrapping. I decided to live with the bump and plugged the cooler in. It really looks cool, with ita LED light inseide, the shimmering shelves and its sharp looking panel. But the offered cooling range (54-66) doesn't comply with the promised one (50-60).

Well, I am living in the South and I hate my AC running all the time. But a room temperature of 78F should be doable. This thing went noisily out of steam when reaching 57F. And it took the "cooler" hours to get there!

As for the materials used and the way they have been processed see the thorough review below. Cheap, Made in China.

It's disappointing, just bad.

5 out of 5 stars Works great   May 13, 2010

This cooler has been working great. The set temp. is very close to the actual temp. that I checked with a dial thermometer. I wish that this company would make a larger bottle capacity cooler. If/when they do I would probably purchase one. A 50 bottle cooler would be appreciated.

Great wine cooler for the price. Keeps the wine to the exact temperature that I set it to and I love the blue lights. It casts a nifty glow when I have it turned on.
